Chris Dornfeld is a serial entrepreneur, architect and advocate for STEM education. Since 2011 Chris has served as President and Co-Founder of Bonfyre – a mobile, social engagement platform used by people, brands and companies around the globe to connect with the people that matter. He is also the Founder of the Center for Science, a national collaborative network of science center partners. Chris has served as an executive in several start up companies, including a venture backed health services start-up that grew to over 500 people and $100m in annualized revenue in 18 months. Chris served as CIO for the City of St. Louis from 2001 – 2003 where he reorganized the city’s technology departments and implemented a performance management program saving millions of dollars and increasing productivity. Chris is actively involved in the entrepreneurial community in St. Louis and is responsible for developing programs that have helped hundreds of entrepreneurs and start-up companies.
